We keep identifying details (ABN/address) off this public page to protect privacy. We display our ABN on tax invoices and provide it upon reasonable request.
1) Terms of Use (Marketplace)
1.1 What we do
sbox.trade is a peer‑to‑peer marketplace for digital goods (e.g., s&box/Steam cosmetics). Users list items; buyers purchase them.
We’re not affiliated with Valve, Steam, or Facepunch. You must comply with any third‑party terms that apply to your items (e.g., Steam or s&box rules).
1.2 Eligibility & accounts
- Minimum age: You must be 18+ to create an account and use sbox.trade. By using the site, you confirm you meet this requirement.
- If we reasonably believe an account is under 18 or involved in fraud/abuse, we may suspend or close the account.
- Keep your login secure. You’re responsible for activity under your credentials.
1.3 Items you can/can’t trade
You agree not to list, buy, or otherwise deal in:
- Stolen/duped items; accounts or access credentials; malware or illegal content; or anything that breaches Steam/Facepunch or other publisher policies.
- Conduct including fraud, chargeback abuse, scraping, spam, or other activity that harms the platform or other users.
We may remove listings or take action where we reasonably suspect a breach.
1.4 How trades work (escrow & delivery)
- When a buyer pays, funds are placed in platform escrow.
- A trade is completed when our bot confirms delivery on both sides. At that point, escrow is released to the seller, less any fees.
- If delivery fails (no bot confirmation), the trade is automatically cancelled and the buyer is automatically refunded to the original payment method or to the account balance (as applicable).
1.5 Fees & pricing
- Seller fee: 3% of the final sale price.
- Withdrawal fee: 3% (network/processor charges may also apply).
- Deposit/processor fees: Shown at checkout and may vary by method.
- Prices may be shown in multiple currencies for convenience; see Payment (below) for settlement currencies.
1.6 Payment, currencies & settlement
- Card/Stripe: charged and settled in USD (your bank may convert from your local currency).
- Cryptomus (crypto): settled in USDT (network fees may apply).
- Displayed amounts in other currencies are estimates for convenience only.
- We are not GST‑registered. No GST is charged on our platform fees. Taxes, if any, on the underlying items are the responsibility of users.
1.7 Refunds, cancellations & disputes (AU Consumer Law compliant)
- Change‑of‑mind: no refunds for digital items once a trade completes.
- Not received: if our bot does not confirm delivery, the system automatically refunds the buyer.
- Not as described / faulty digital item: you may have rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Open a ticket with your trade ID and screenshots within 48 hours of completion so we can investigate quickly.
- We may temporarily hold funds during an investigation for fraud/chargeback risk.
1.8 Your wallet & funds
Any balance you hold with us is a limited‑purpose stored value for buying items or withdrawing under these Terms. It’s not a bank account, not interest‑bearing, and may be subject to anti‑fraud and anti‑money‑laundering checks by our payment processors.
1.9 Third‑party services
We use third‑party providers (e.g., Steam APIs, payment processors, hosting, analytics). Their terms and privacy practices apply in addition to ours. We are not responsible for delays or outages caused by those providers.
1.10 Sanctions & export controls
You must not use sbox.trade if you are subject to sanctions or if doing so would breach applicable trade controls.
1.11 Fair use & enforcement
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Where funds are clearly linked to fraud/illicit activity, we may freeze or forfeit those funds as permitted by law and payment‑processor rules. We’ll act reasonably and keep records of decisions.
1.12 Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the greater of AUD $100 or the fees you paid to us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these Terms limits consumer guarantees or liability that cannot be excluded under the law.
1.13 Governing law & venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the courts of Victoria.
1.14 Force majeure
We aren’t liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (e.g., network outages, DDoS, platform or payment‑network incidents).
